I will also be getting the party started early on Thursday, April 2nd at Weedon Island Preserve in St. Petersburg☮️🐢💜 Both of these events are designed for children 10 - 13 years old, but all are welcome to join these free, family-friendly activities. Help me "shellebrate" and introduce a new girl hero to more readers (ages 10 - 13) this year with the Beneath the Surface 2026 Book Tour -- coming to a nature preserve/library/book store/ tea house near you (hopefully!). Each free event will feature a short reading from Beneath the Surface and an activity from the "Deep Dive" ocean literacy pack .
