HAPPY WORLD OCEAN DAY EVERY DAY!
It would be an understatement to say I have really enjoyed celebrating World Ocean Month all June long. It's been a such pleasure sharing Beneath the Surface, Ocean Lovers' Chinese Lessons and the plight of China's pink dolphins across Michigan these past few weeks. I'm happy to say there are more celebrations to come this weekend, both online and offline:
June 27
2:00 - 3:30pm
Detroit, Michigan
*Free cupcakes for the first 30 guests by Cream.
June 28, 2026 ONLINE Zoom Meeting
1:30 pm - 2:10pm (GMT-4)

The final public tour date will be at the Ann Arbor Public Library, Mallets Creek Branch on July 2nd, from 2:00 - 3:00pm. They say you only need to impress two people in life: 1) your 80 year old self and 2) your 8 your old self. So, although I created this event for Ann Arbor kids today, this is most definitely for the little girl who spent summers in the basement of the downtown library imagining she was in the Land of Oz, as well.
Please look for more new postcards coming soon, too.
Thank you for supporting this ocean literacy journey. Hope to SEA you soon!
